Aitor Throup is definitely destined for huge things judging from his previous work with Stone Island and his designs for the English 2010 World Cup kit, so it’s pretty exciting for him to finally release a ready-to-wear collection. The preview does not disappoint, utilising military fabrics and technical features and combining these with classic British tailoring. The standout for me though is this upside down skull backpack. Haven’t seen such good use of a skull in high fashion since Alexander Mcqueen.
